Lol!

Looks like she's burning a little oil! But based on the third picture I'm sure the engine will outlast the rest of the car!

Roll cage goes in tonight - Radiator will be relocated to roll cage - gas tank will be removed and replaced with a plastic one mounted where the rear seat is. Battery relocated behind passanger seat. I will likley put in some sort of skid plate

You may register at the track the day of the race but it will run you $40 and you will not be guaranteed a place in the action. A downloadable registration form will be available here soon.

Check out the PROMO video we did:

I'm jealuos!!!!!

I used to do a lot of dirt track enduro's in the upper midwest. They are bascially a demo derby while going around the track. There were only two rules. One, Stop where you are at if the Red flag is displayed. Two, there are no rules except for rule #1 so anything goes.
Sometimes we ran the race going counterclickwise, sometime clock wise and sometimes half the race one way and then the second half the other way.

$500 for a car ready to go, a tank of gas and usually a $100 entry fee gets you on the track. Races were typically 2hr or 200 laps which ever came first and first prize was usually around $1,500 - $2,500.

Man now that I am talking about enduros I might have to start doing them again.

I paid $200 for my Festiva; $100 for updated tires; $20 for a YZ490 gas tank; $75 for 5 pt. seatbelt.
My employeer (Sportech Inc) which is a partner in ERX - is putting my roll cage in and letting me race for free - in trade for me doing the safety tech inspections on race days !!!!

We have something similar but not as good up here. Its called DemoCross and you run in the same blocked in compound as the debrys are run but there is blocks and small jumps laid out for a 10 lap run.

Cars only need side and back windows and lights removed.Gas tanks and battery stay in the same location. This way cars do not need alot of work to get ready. But you can run a derby or fiqure 8 car if you want.

I would call LUCAS OIL and see if they would like to film the event. They are allways looking for something differant in motersports to broadcast .

Please keep in mind that the track will be reduced from the full blown motor cross track. there will be bermed corners, small jumps, rolling whoops, and one table top at the finish line.

NOS energy drink is already a sponsor at the track. They are requiring us to place two NOS drink stickers on everyones cars.
