carbon tech reeds

Has any one ever use carbon tech reeds on their stock reed cage on a srx? Any thing wrong with them? or are they as good or better then the stock reeds?
 

I have used carbon tech reeds on SXs + VMAX4s but not on my SRX, I run Boysen Rage Cages on it.
I have been very happy with the carbon techs when I have used them and feel they would be a good addition to the already good stock cages, especially if you need new reeds anyway.

I used carbon tech reeds on my vipers stock cages. Never had any problems and have been very happy with the setup.
 
Have not heard anything bad about the carbon tecks..........except next best thing to stock, if not more responsive than .........stock......
 
duno the cause or anythign... but i was at my mechs n a guy had the carbon fiber reeds... a huge chunck broke off n went through the engine... he said he never saw anything like that from the cf reeds... but was shocked... only bad thing ive seen so far from the,
 
But because of what the Carbon Tech Reeds are made off,they won't do damage to an engine if a piece breaks off.Ihave the Carbon Tech reeds in my SX600R for the past 4 years and no problems.Sled does start super easy all the time and responsive.On my SRX I am staying with OEM reeds,actually just replaced them before the season ended.
 
O.k. thanks, thats what i ran on my sled this winter, because it was we had around while my reeds were finished. So to get bac ko nthe trail thats all i had. Looks like ill probably keep them.
