Trying to connect an electric face shield, the instructions are not very helpful. Any body know where to connect the wires?
Thanks

Connect the electric shield wires to any 12 volt wire on your sled. You could use the tail light wire under the seat, the handwarmers, etc. Test some wires and choose which 12V wire is most convenient for you. BTW, SkiDoo makes a really nice plug for a really trick looking install.

I've hooked into the reverse light hookup (I think that's what it is) Its a plastic female connector located on the brake side just above the footwell o the inside of the hood (01 sxr700). Works fine, constasnt 12V source. And for a cheaper "trick" plug setup, I drilled a hole right in between my hand/thumb warmer controls thats just a hair smaller than the large flange on the wire connector. Then I used some 2-part plastic epoxy and pushed the wire in from the front and smoothed the epoxy around the connector. It fit's nice and fluch. When it's cured, I painted it with black model paint and it looks great. Not quite as factory as the Ski doo plug, but basically free....

why not hook it up directly to the battery
