I want to get my bender triple pipes coated! Who does the best job at the best rate? Kinda thinking Jet-Hot. I'm located in MN so somewhere close preferable, sponsor maybe?Any help appreciated! :2strokes:

dynoport does a nice job & can do them in various colors. call heath or mike @ bender racing ( dyno port owns bender ). 716 941 5840.

i do not work for bender racing & never have! in fact i have never worked for any motorsports manufacturer, dealer or aftermarket company nor have i been involved in the the motorsports industry as an employee or agent for any manufacturer, dealer or aftermarket company. if you have further doubts feel free to contact bruce @ pioneer performance, jim @ dynotech, rich @ dynoport or mike/heath @ benders. if you would like to speak to me personally in regards to your concerns, they all have my phone number & will share it w/ you or email me @ bufalobob@roadrunner.com & i will forward my number to you.

Fireball coatings up in Ontario also does very nice work. I've had some stuff done there. Their ceramic coatings on pipes is the best I have seen.

I could recommend New Image Coatings in Forest Lake, MN. They are located real close to the former Hay Days race site. Both Hot Seat Performance and Speedwerx use them to coat their pipes. I had them coat some Viper triple pipes a few years ago and they turned out great. Pretty reasonable prices too.

Here's their phone number: 651-784-7055.

;)! No problem...glad to help. I just noticed the new TY VMax sled build from Mr. Sled. Looks like another awesome sled.

I will do my best :) Hard to do the work like you Boomer, your sled always turn out so fricken nice ;)!

Thanks again Boomer! The pipes turned out good and the price was reasonable, hopefully the coating will last! Ryan

They charged 265 and that included cleaning and prep! The pipes were a little rusty but not to bad. I think I'll have my RZRS exhaust done next!

Those look good SXRYAN. I just got the same thing done to my Mt Viper SLP Pipes by Dusty's Powder Coating in Superior WI. He also Ceramic coats. Cost was like $250 or so, including sandblasting, prep, etc. He does excellent work and is a really nice guy.

In Detroit, Custom Concepts Coatings does excellent work at a reasonable rate. 3 years on a pipe only has discoloration from heat and oil.

Not really - It will build heat faster, so if your sled is tuned for that it will get there faster on takeoff. You probably won't notice it though.
