Looks like i came up with a summer project afterall. Im going to install reverse on my viper S. I am running cpr pipes but their seems to be more room than with the stock can. I also intalled e start at the end of the year. Couple questions. 1) I dont see any issues with fitting the reverse in with the e start and pipes. Am i right? 2) I i get a complete chain case do i use all the parts from the donor or do i use some of my stock parts. (i will keep my stock chain case base) . 3) I like the tought of the cable lever from the e brake but worried about reliability, anyone got this perfected yet? read a bunch of posts but no real final results on how it performed. Not against cutting hood for sake of reliability. Well that should get me started, thanks for any and all input. CCC

i would guess everything should go in fine, shouldnt be any diffrent than the viper er that came with both. i have put reverse on a regular viper before, wasnt bad. use outer chaincase, the extra gear it uses for reverse, and if i remember right was the mechanisim that the reverse handle operates that moved a set of forks to swith the chain back and forth between the gears for forward and reverse. not exactly sure though, that was a few years ago. i do remember that when i did it i went to the local dealer and got a schematic and wasnt very hard to figure out. good luck

ps, dont beleive the horror stories about killing speed either, it didnt efect mine at all. it did just as good racing people and had the same exact top speed as before i did it.
