11 plate gear on 13 plate chain?????

Hey can you run an 11 plate top gear on a 13 plate chain and lower gear? It fits but has some side to side slop. will this cause it to destroy everything in chaincase? I just bought a used reverse kit fo rmy kids sled and reverse gear and chain are 13 plate. I have a coupe of different top gears but there all 11 plate. Anybody ever do this?

dont do it, it will where out real quick, and chaincases aren't cheap. just get the right gear

i agree i would not use it. not worth the trouble. gears are cheap
