Yamaha Enticer Year?

Not sure if the year is within the VIN# or not? I just bought (2) 340 Enticers. I was told they are early 90s but can't be sure the VIN# are as follows:


Enticer 340 T/R long track with reverse VIN: 84G-001148
Enticer 340 short body VIN: 83T-001291

Hoping someone out there can help. Thank you,

any pics? on those you can almost tell the year by the colour of the hood if they are origonal.. i think they where dark grey for that year.

How do you know they are 1988 is there a formula?

Enticer Year?

What about this one?

81a-0001448? I dont find that one on the chart? That appears to be the one off a sled I am looking at buying.
