Can anyone tell me what the lightest suspension is? I was planning on using a Phazer skid for my SS 338 project, but now acquired a 82 SRV skid. Should I hold out for a 121 Phazer skid, or will this one work just fine? Thanks. G.

I have 85 srv suspension.It ways 60 lbs. I don't know what
a phazer suspension weighs. I think the srv might ride a little better
but the phazer is easier to adjust.

get the front bolt lower than its stock position..maybe 1/2"..gets the weight off the skis.

Oops, the suspension I weighed was from a 94 vmax 500.
I would think either the phazer or srv suspensions will work for
what your doing.

Thanks to all for the replies. The skid is an 82 SRV and therefore the monoshock design which should be considerably lighter than the 85 skid. This is the same skid as used in the 81 SRX and the SS 440's.
Lowering the front arm is a good idea, thanks for that. I will be looking at it in closer detail this weekend. Maybe a guy could insert a fox float in there and lose some more weight? lol Thanks. G.
