Thats slp's original ski that they started producing in the mid nineties. It would be a huge upgrade over factory steel skis, but you could probably do better for a hundred bucks especially seeing they need work. They have not produced those in 8-10 years I think? If you get 'em for a good price slp probably still has some loops available for them.I had a set of there slt skis which were a later edition of that keel design and they were ok with very light steering and no darting, but not as aggressive as I wanted have simmons now, much better.

P.S. My 700sx no longer has the steel skis but has either sxr or srx plastic skis, but one is badly worn from the previous owner running the carbide down too far.

Wow thats serious damage and as far as I'm concerned there worth virtually nothing with damage to the backbone of the ski like that. You should be able to find some nice used skis on line or at haydays. You'd love some different skis on there, it'll feel like a whole different machine with some good skis on there! That guys crazy thinking he'll get that kind of money for an older design thats damaged to boot!

I bought some of those for my XCR back in the mid 90's and they were standard on some late 90's Polaris. I dropped $300.00 new with skins so maybe that's where the guy is coming from regarding price. I also welded them a couple times, once after I sold the sled. Not real durable.
Huge improvement over steel skis (the drop in noise level alone sold me) but I'd agree with the Swede that you should be able to find something better as they are out dated. I like the standard skies on my SRX but admittedly I haven't tried others.
