boss seat

Here is an excerpt from an email i received.

Dear Valued Go Big Parts Customer,
Go Big Parts is pleased to announce our Boss Seat Pre-Order incentive program. This is not a program offered by Boss, but one that Go Big Parts is offering to our customers.

First, let me fill you in on the improvements that Boss is making to the seats:

• Improved foam formula for a more comfortable ride

• Stronger water-proof zippers for durability

• Non-fade material throughout the seat

Why pre-order? First, these seats are expected to sell out quickly, as only a limited number are being produced. Customers who pre-order will get their seats first. Last season we did run out on most models. Also, we will sell pre-orders at the same great discounted price we sold them at last season. We will more than likely be forced by Boss to sell our seats at full retail once these start to ship. Boss is letting us know that the pre-ordered seats will begin to ship near the beginning of September, 2010.

Here is how the the pre-order will work. Pay us in full with credit card, or money order and get your seat at $370 plus shipping. Typically shipping runs $35 in the states and $45 to Canada.

If you don't feel comfortable paying in full or can't, you can reserve a seat for $100 non-refundable down payment. However, the seat will be priced at MSRP of $399 plus shipping. The balance of $299 plus shipping will not be due until the seat is ready to ship. This is a limited time offer only. We reserve the right to stop this promotion at any time, but see it running through some time in August, 2010.

Boss's snowmobile season starts in August, this is when they start making seats for the coming season.

that is a heck of a deal. They are worth the money, look like crap but they make the sled so nice to ride and the storage is wonderful.

For the first time ever I'm going to disagree with BeTheViper, because i think Boss seats can look very nice. The new ones look great and I get compliments on mine all the time. I think they look better than stock.

But that is a great deal in that pre order program. Great price. You need to order your Boss seat in like July or August, so you can get it in like October because they take so damned long to build them and get them to you. It is ridiculous. Trust me. Boss is very, very frustrating to deal with.

I ordered mine from GoBigParts.com also. Randy there is only so-so to deal with as he seems to not be very interested in selling snowmobile equipment in the summer. But being that it's Boss he's dealing with, it's probably not all his fault.

But this a great deal IMO and I'd order one through that program if i needed another one b/c it's such a good deal.

I agree with Mike on all accounts.

Today is September 26th and just ordered my Boss seat from Go Big. They are still taking orders if you are still in the market.

i too, would like to see a pic of an SRX with a boss seat, i know the "project X7" has one, but i would like to see it on a semi-stock sled!
