yeah you guys all have very true statements...
first off once we pulled the trailer an hour and a half the sled was cosmeticlly rougher than described and the picture looked... this is always the case so i expected this...
i looked it all over.. the skid looked fine... the track has some torn lugs but was in really nice shape.. it had brand new skis and ski skins... started on 1/2 a pull... sounded good... the belt was way way worn out or just the wrong belt and so it was really doggy in the grass... i looked and looked it over... and ws just about to drop the sold hammer on $600 buck... then i realized.....
the body panels had rub parts on them and and weret quit fitting together right because ... the front "axel" was bent back about 1/2" or and the right strut was rotated and therefore hitting the panels... of course the guy knew nothing of this
we tried to offer him $500 and he wouldnt even take that so we walked away...
ryan- thanks for that number... thats sorta what expected...
snowdad.. thanks for that tip ill keep it in mind next time, this one looked good tho
braindead- your absolutly right about the casting seperating.. this one was too... but i sorta wrote it off as a bad casting
fastmax- im not sure if he is really that heavy... i hated to ask him... that was just a guess... but im sure hes over 250.. we generally dont blow thru true powder.. it usually has some icey base to it and generally it not even 2 feet deep... that is an extreme case...(i take it you got that info from vmax4.com, tho im not sure of your name over there)
anyways as usual thanks for the input guys
