sold the nytro 4-stroke and returned back to good old triples. my last triple was a 99 mountain max and i just bought a 2006 venom with 440 miles. i have read that the vipers needed a front cooler protector for studded tracks, does that mean venom also? who makes good clutch kits? has anybody ceramic coated their exhaust? what is the front shock spring rating?
my plan is to update the shocks and put straight rate springs and looking into a can from MBRP(trail). As far the can goes who makes a not so loud can that does not take away power? any info would be helpful. thanks

if you're running a 1.25in track with studs, yes you'll want to invest in tunnel protectors and heat exchanger protectors. i don't know of you're looking for power, but if you are get some pipes for this sled, it's a 600 triple that doesn't have power valves and is more competitive with 500's than 600's. if you're still looking into getting a can i'd try slp or something along those lines, pretty quiet but still noticable
