I have a 2001 SRX that is long traveled in the rear with the Pioneer shocks and Ohlins in the front with the extension
I am wanting to put new studs in the factory track and was wondering with the rear long traveled ( if it has any difference) if it will allow me to go to a "slightly" longer stud maybe like 1.25 inch.
What are your thoughts on the correct stud length for my sled and what length will give me the best trail performance without taking out the tunnel or front heat exchanger considering it is long traveled.

The long travelled susp. will not give you any more clearance up around the front exchanger. Stock track has a lug height of 0.92". You could use a stud height of 1"- 1.08" for control traction. Keep the studs out of the protectors line and you should be fine. The protectors only come out when using a larger paddle track.
They are all in there right now. Most are very dull and some broke off at the tip. Not too bad though

I have 1.075" Woody's in my '01 SRX with a Viper skid and 1" aggressor track clipped at the HX protectors and still get slight contact with the rear HX. I had the same 1.075" on the stock Yoko track and also had slight contact mainly 'cause I run the track loose. I expected the the 1" aggressor to allow for a longer stud as the lug is the same height across which should have kept the stud further away compared to the lugs on the Yoko but I still ended up with contact on the rear HX.
From what I've read and seen I don't think you want to go any taller especially on a .920" Yoko. The skid made no difference.
