Well I forked out some big bucks for a "LIKE NEW" SRX700 seat on ebay because I was sick of seeing holes in the seat. Got my ebay seat today with a nice sized hole in it! Of course that side of the seat was not in the picture, just a nice clear image of the good side!!!
WTF! is wrong with people on ebay? Do they really think a person would not notice, or not care?

yup..this world has gotten rotten.Things like this..no honestly...criminals walk the streets in stead of jail time. From what I see..you do anything bad and dishonest..don't worry its ok.I hate to say it but basically you cannot trust anyone anymore..not even your neighbour.I couldn't even imagine to sell a seat with a hole in it,unless you show the hole up front(in which case it won't sell) I wander if this e-bay seller is a member on here.If he is>>>SHAME ON HIM.What comes around goes around...bunch of crap if you ask me.

Obviously he should of told you and it's not your fault, but you should NEVER buy something like that without seeing pics of every angle of the object.

Thats to bad, I buy alot of parts of ebay and have had a great experience this far...knock on wood. Make sure you leave this a hole a real nasty feedback message....i only buy from top sellers. Thats the key to having a good experience.

all you do is go to your my ebay page, under where you leave feedback,it says more options. click that and it will say problem?, then open a claim the item is not as described in the auction. They will force the seller to accept a return. In good faith they(ebay) will even pay for the return shipping. I went thru the same thing on a viper seat. I asked the guy selling it before bidding if it had any seams pulled or damage and he said "no",well it showed up with the whole rear seam ripped open and dirt packed in it so it wasnt from shipping. The seller told me to stick it,but ebay made him refund me my total $$ with paying for return shipping. Ebay will be on your side if the seller stated in auction , or ebay messages it was perfect.

UPDATE: Well the seller came through and refunded my money, plus the return shipping, I was suprised....

BAD NEWS: I bought another seat, "NO DAMAGE WHAT_SO_EVER" Well once again there is a hole in the side of the seat, and some staples pulled through on the bottom!!!
He says "thats unreal" he "inspected it himself"....He has offered to return my purchase price, but I want to make sure he also pays to cover the return shipping. I don't think I should be out $25 with nothing to show for it because of a misleading ad!!!

Ebay

Sucks. I'm batting about .500 on motorcycle parts and guitar amps on ebay. I now use craigslist so I can pick items up.
Hang in there and check the swapmeets out.
Good luck

So far so good with ebay and craigslist. Except the B.S. spam it got from craigslist before i knew what i was doing. Try again im sure you will get your refund with full shipping. I use snowmobile scrap yards for anything big like that. Price usually evens out when you include the shipping. CCC
