192 STUDS ON GRANULAR ICE LAST YEAR MY 2002 SRX RAN 110 IN 1000 F.T. WITH 8BU-10 SET-UP. ALSO 150 POUND DRIVER. 3:16 (yammie tony)
Thats a fast sled! Is yours good to go on the trailer too or just strickly race? Im thinking probably 120 studs. i think i should grip pretty good don't you think ?
How will the 8BU00 differ from yours? if you are very familiar w/ different set ups. stock primary green secondary 70 degree twist, straight 45 helix, 3.6 Gr rivets in the tips and nothing in the middle hole, stock gears 23/38. how do you think this will perform. don pixor who build world champ srx said to start w/ this? he also said just 92 studs in the center of the track.
If your not getting over 100 m.p.h. you are doing something wrong. My 2000SRX700 will do about 104m.p.h. in 1000' on ice with a 150lb rider. The sled is stock except for 144 trail studs and a really basic trail riding clutch set up.bojisrx said:w/ just clutching what have you guys seen for top speeds. I mainly see in my town around 90-97?
Yammiegod3:16 isn't running a normal stock SRX700 though.
