Kinda a viper shock ??

The ol 96xt will need some new shocks this season. I have a pair of Viper KYB's laying around will some life left in them. The 96xt was the first year of the proaction. Can i get the viper shocks to fit. This is just a thought as the sleds are still tucked away and i havent really had a chance to give this a quick look. Just seeing if anyone has done or knows!!! Thanks CCC

i belive the xt has the short travel shocks on the front. however, there is a small bracket that the top of the shock mounts to that u can remove and then the long travel viper shocks should fit right in. i did the same thing to my 97 sx. part #14 on this fiche if the link works.
