On what years SRX came equipped with Ohlins front shock with the reservoir canister? Also when searching for a SRX to buy is it that much beneficial to look for one with the Ohlins option?

weren't the Ohlin equipped sleds only in Canada, thought I read that somewhere. My SRX is from the US and it had standard factory shocks on board, had to purchase Ohlin's separately for the sled.
98-99 came standard with ohlins,,,,,,,,,, were options on 00-02..........
And yes they do make for a better ride,,,,,,,,,,, especially in the stutter bumps.........Plus 00-02 have dual headlamps & a tad more hp.........
Whammy, Im a not sure you are right there... Here is one that dont have the OhlinsWhammy said:98-99 came standard with ohlins,,,,,,,,,, were options on 00-02..........

I think they were never standard on the srx, but could be ordered in the spring in certain years.I believe the only 2 stroke sleds that they were standard on were the early sx 600's and the '04 viper s ??????
If I'm correct here it was optional in the states on SRX's where you could have either the Ohlins or a 3 year warranty but where Yamaha Canada would not offer the 3 yr plan the Ohlins were standard issue.

lol, you're looking in my neighborhood... thats a nice looking sled, not sure I'd drop that kinda coin on a 98-99 though, but thats just me. My 98 SRX doesnt have Ohlins either, it was an option (spring order) for us in the states.
