In a perfect world, where I am king, and can eat pizza, drink beer, and get bj's all day long, you would now tell me that these are made specifically for the Mountain Max. No?

hahah no, unfortunately not, did you get yours dialed in with the pipes and everything? YOU should come out riding this year! I just talked with Meravi on FB and he said no workie for 20 months, ouch!

I wish I could. I made a decree to the Mrs. that I will be going out there somewhere in 2015. She said "sure". And no, I did not get it dialed in with the pipes. Everything else is spot on tho, I like how it turned out.

What kind of trailing arms are those YooperMike? They look pretty badass and it also looks like it brought the front end of the sled up some. Specs? How does it handle?

They are definately dialed in. I can't remember if he set it up with 142.5's or 145's straight across.....anyways it runs well. I'm still trying to find a set of triples that will work with my reverse, if I do, everything will have to be redone. Later this fall I'm going to try Matt's slp triples on there to see if they will squeeze in, the big-bore slp's I bought last summer would then go to him because he doesn't have reverse and now has uncle doug's old MM, which I believe is ported and has the high-comp head. I was lead in the wrong direction when I bought them, telling me they would fit with reverse. Bad mistake on my part not doing enough research.

Bender triple pipes fit with Electric start / reverse. I have the pipes on my SXR700 and I installed Electric start as well. And the pipes work great.

Yep, heard that. Thanks! The issue is trying to get rid of the big bore pipes I have first, nobody wants them. If the normal SLP pipes fit, I'm just going to swap with my bro.

no problem on the thread hi-jack, i was just making conversation anyway as this forum doesnt see much action. hope you can get your pipes figured out sounds like you are headed in the right direction anyway.

Yup, normal SLP "Quiet" pipes fit just fine. I had to bend the snubber tab a little to make it hit on the chaincase in the right spot but no issues otherwise. Not sure why they don't change the directions and mention that they work with reverse.

Sweeeet. What is this 'snubber' tab you speak of? The set I will hopefully be swapping for is an older set. From my failing memory, I am thinking this is the little bracket that has a rubber bumper on it that would rest against the face of the chaincase cover...is that correct? So that just needs to be altered a little to make it work? If it wouldn't be too much trouble, and your sled is accessible, could you take a photo?

Yes, the snubber is the tab against the chaincase.
Sled is accessible but it would no longer do you any good. I have an Ekholm tunnel with the D+R modified to fit with reverse. Same pipes though, just the chaincase is no longer anywhere near the stock location.
The pipes fit fine though back when I had the stock tunnel and stock reverse set-up.

SLP's will fit with reverse if you have the old style stingers instead of 3in1 can. A little on the obnoxious side though...

Absolutely not true. I have the 3-1 new style silencer and it works fine. The big bore pipes have a larger canister with a curve on the back (like the Polaris Ultra pipes by SLP) and will not work with the reverse, but the 3-1 standards work fine. In fact, I replaced the silencer on mine with a new one from SLP just last winter so I am sure I have the newest design..........
