I am going to look at a '01 SRX, the seller says it needs a new track. What size track does the SRX take? is it different between the years?
I would be doing primarily groomed trail riding and of course lake runs, what would be a good track for that type of riding and where would I get that? Do you go to the manufacturers website and order it and they ship it to you?
The seller also states that the hood has a scratch on it- for future reference what is the paint code for the yammie blue on the SRX? Can it be bought at the dealer?

it should take a 121x15 track. i use the stock lug height track which is .920" and i run 144 studs. so i cant tell you about any other tracks but search there are a ton of posts about tracks.
If you run over 1 inch your gonna have clearance issues. There are ways to fix this if you want to run a 1.25 track, but for running lakes and groomed trails stick to what madzx2 said.
How much are you wanting to spend on a track?
The sled I was going to look at was just sold-
I plan on going to look at another '98 this weekend.
From what I see the tracks are $400 shipped for a hacksaw

if you are not going to use studs then 1.25" will fit. you will have to remove the front heat exchanger prrotectors,if studding then i would use a 1 inch track with a 192-1.075" studs. that's what i've done on my 98 and i'm going to do to my 2001. the stock track is garabage.
