Congratulations out to the Taggart Racing Yamaha Team on your hard earned podium finish with that SRX.
You've had alot of blood, sweat, and tears since Syracuse and it's paid off, it's sure breathing fire running a 4.53 at 112.7 MPH with that Full Power Performance tuned motor. It's a true testament to this team's ability by the feat to get a Yamaha in a PS1000 final, let alone get to race Craig Marchbank, which is an honor and rewarding just in itself.
What was most spine tingling was seeing one of each Doo, Yam, Pol, and Cat in the final at HayDays... That was sure some exciting racing, good job to everyone!

Great Job Taggart Racing. Any specs on the sled. Just curious on the powerplant.

sxr-x,
Don't know all the specifics but after the COSDRA race in Syracuse it was stretched from 136 to 144" using a Wahl Bros suspension.
The engine built by Justin Fuller is based on an SRX bottom end with a custom stroker crank, big bore cylinders, and custom triple pipes.
HP numbers are being withheld but it ran a 4.46 @ 113mph in the semi final.

Hell of an acomplishment getting an SRX based prostock 1000 to make enough power to compete at this level!!! They picked a great engine builder, Justin knows his stuff and is a great guy to boot.. I can only imaging the time that went into that machine..
