PowerValve Leaking ?

Hey i have a question. Not really much of a mechanic. I noticed on two exhaust pipes right next to the cylinders there was oil leaking out of the two power valves. At least a picture i sent to a tech who works on a few said that they were the power valves? Steal little boxes that go out of the front of the cylinders that have an wire going to a box. Is this a hard fix. I just bought the sled and never road it just started a few times in the garage. i bought it from the dealer in end of july. Should he fix this? Plus the rear right doesn't work right. It doesnt responce always when i squeez the brake. Do you think the power valve could be a issue or just a leaky seal/ gasket?

could be a gasket ...could be a pulled thru valve ....could be a few different things

it sounds like just a leaky seal / o-ring or gasket. if you bought it from a dealer i would go back to talk to them and have them fix it for free. if not then you need to pull them off which you should do anyways every fall and expecially since it's new to you. do a search on here and you will get a ton of info on how to do that. i believe there is a how too in the tech section as well.

Once you take them off, it takes about an hour to understand it all.

When is the last time the power valves were cleaned and adjusted? If you don't know then they should definitely be removed, cleaned, inspected and adjusted. Replace the gaskstes, o;rings and the oil seal as part of the service procedures. As suggested by Ding, search on power valves and also look at the information on the tech pages.
