Ok...Gonna buy a new track. The Yokahama (stock, Jokeahamma) with 144 studs isn't too bad, but I figure while I'm doing the fall tune-up I should look into this again.
Have read all about what will work if you start removing heat exchanger guards and that's not going to happen.
So, 121" x 15" x 1", on my 2002 Viper (non-er, not that it matters).
I am going to stud with 144. What are my best picks? Do you have the part number?
Thanks,
Dave

tom, thanks for the reply. Looked that one, but also looked at the 9043H144, which is fully clipped (not every 3rd like the 9009H that you have sugested) and is pre-holed for 144 studs. I guess I would have to see the price difference. Thank, anyone else?

144 Woodys Megabite 1.075" studs down the middle. If your suspension and transfer are dialed in than you will have a hard time keeping the skis on the ground.

Thanks guys...Looks like that's the ticket. Been reading several threads and this looks like the HOT set-up. Will the track hit the protectors when it's new? Someone stated that it wil "wear in"?

just saying
you can save yourself some money by having your supplier send you a track drill bit or even borrowing one to do it your self with a template that comes with it upon request.
non the less, somebody will lend it to you. its the generosity of this site.

If its a full lug across the window you might have to trim it. I just used tile/nail nippers to trip mayby a 1/8 or so off just at the window. Dont want to just let it wear in good way to tear a lug. My 2c. CCC

I have the correct drill bit and pattern that I bought from Rich last year when I studded my stock track. The extreme max studs didn't hold up too good. They replaced a bunch for me, but after the last ride last year, there are several damaged studs again. I'll give Rich a chance to counter offer when I see what Bruce comes in at.

Rich will come through, he likes the business and return customers. not a bad guy to have a few beers with either

X2. Except I trimmed a 1" Kimpex Aggressor.
