Several of the SRX's I am looking at have the front Ohlins shock set ups. Being that now the sleds are 10-12 years old (98-99's) should the shocks be rebuilt? Do they may a rebuild kit for them?

It is worthwhile to have them rebuilt. Send them to Bruce at Pioneer Performance. He does a good job and provides fast service. I had a set rebuilt by him last year.

If you send them to pioneer they have the extensions for those shocks for 50 bucks I think that will give you a little more travel. I bought a set of these shocks for 20 dollars off a sled that looked like death and the shafts were bent and the seals were bad. Bruce fixed them up and put those extensions on for $200.00. Sled is alot smoother up front than stock shocks.
