I know this should be somewhere else...

Wow i was just talking about one of these in another post but $8000 is way out of my budget. I really dont think its worth that in the crate or not but it is coooool as hell. CCC

dont think you would lose any money on it at 8 grand if you kept it in the crate, put it in the back of your shop, but as soon as you put it together, fuel it up and go for a ride, you got a used $3000 sled :o|

That's right.
And they should have left everything intact and not cut the plastic and opened it up like that.

Kind of makes you wonder how well the dealership is run and the books are kept. People could be robbing them blind and they wouldn't even know it.

Yeah but either way. I know that the price is steep, but it would be awesome to be "that guy" or excuse me "that person" that had the honor of being the original owner of one of Yamaha's milestone snowmobiles. The smile-per-dollar ratio I believe would be off the charts... at least for me. I would buy it, put it together, and ride it. Ive told many of my buddies of our summer time creatures (motorcycles) that if I ever was able to get my dream bike (Bimota Vdue) I dont care how rare or exclusive it is; I bought it to ride it and enjoy it. Looking at a powersports toy is like sitting in a round room and being told to piss in the corner: assinine and emotionally distressing. My two cents anyway.
