My son and I were at the Ohio Ridge Runners 2010 Snow Bash yesterday, Ohio NY. An absolutely excellent event, the club did a terrific job. A very professional race track complete with an announcer's tower, timing lights, large LED signs to display the ET and speed. 4 wide grass drags, maybe 120 sleds showed up for the race, plenty of vendors and a swap meet. Our favorite classes were the 1000 pro stock and the 1000 open. 105 - 110 MPH in 500 ft. Awesome event!! There were only 3 Yamahas running at the event, two SRX's and a Nytro. The SRXs were runing in the stock 700 class, won a couple of rounds. The only disappointment was we paid for a pit pass but could only walk around the trailers, all the action was in the "HOT" pits. Got to look over a few high power sleds and talk to a few racers at the end of the day. Some very well built sleds.
Two weeks from now we will be going to the NH event at Peterson's farm in Fremont NH. I hope to meet up with a few fellow TY members.
