You can't beat a Blue SRX..Black in that pic doesn't do it for me...

Yea, somebody did a very nice job on that "custom Pearl Black paint job" That looks very sexy!!
The biggest defect with most of the black sleds I have seen done as with this one, they used factory decals and left the blue edges.

First thing I would do is get rid of that ugly chrome windy.
I am in the market for an SRX between $1500-2000. there are a few 98-99's local here but of course if I could I would like something newer. I also want the Ohlins shocks, that's why that one is interesting.
I would over time go back to the blue though.

thats almost what I want to do my sled!... I got the chrome front end n all.. execpt im going to polish my tunel... once I get the funds for the belly pans bumper and grap bar ofcourse.... got other pressing maters but hopefully someday!

I just called the guy and the miles are 12,500. He says the sled has been gone through 100%. The engine has the bottom end of a Viper and heads of an SRX. Aftermarket pipes. All rebuilt skid and new shock. The miles kinda scare me as well as all rebuilt. If somethinge went wrong i wouldn't know what I needed because not all of it is SRX stuff.
I am getting frustrated because I was dealing with a local kid (shoulda known right there) who has a 98, decent shape, 3K miles and Ohlins. I talked to him a few weeks ago and said I would like to look at it when my money came in. I called him at the begining of last week and asked if he still had it and he said "yes, no one has even looked at it yet, I am willing to negotiate because I am out of work and need the $$$"
So I call him and all of a sudden he is playing games of when he can show it and then says " i really dont need to sell it, if worse comes to worse I'll keep it and ride it next year" GRR,
