We just picked up an 04 Viper S.
We're thinking of adding some of the OEM Viper mirrors that fit next to the windshield.
Does anyone have any input as to how well they fit and or work?
Thanks,
Bob

I really like these

I agree with musselman the dont work worth a crap. I tried them on my wifes viper and you couldnt see a thing out of them but yourself. My 04 S came with theses. I was gonna take them off but i left them and i wont ride without them now. You can see great!! CCC

I have those on my RX1 and I have to bend down a little to see back but they work good enough to at least see headlights. I agree I wouldn't be without them. I figured that the Viper mirrors would be the same but didn't know if they were durable or not. I don't like to keep turning around to have to see behind me. It's really for my son's sled but he's always had mirrors on previous sleds like me.
Thanks for all the feedback... ;)!

They break real easy when you slam the sled down on it's top    . . . or so I 've heard

Actually I agree with others, the mirrors are virtually useless, I use a back of the palm mirror now. It is much better.

Ya, i dont have them, but my buddies Viper does. I drove it to see if they were worth me buying. For the amount I could actually see behind me, I figure its not worth it. Are they 100% crap? No. Are they virtually useless? IMO.... YES.

If mounted properly they work great,,,,,,,, When people don't see my ridden up an there *** they look stupid as can be.. (take up whole trail cause DA-Ah they don't know some ones behind them) Get out of the way.........Idiots......

I rode a viper with those mirrors and the handle bars were right in-line with the mirror so I had to duck down to see out of them. Get the mirrors that super1c has, they work well and are much more adjustable.

The OEM mirrors work great as a wind break. As far as seeing if someones behind you not so good. There is not alot of square inches to look at and the time you angle your head just right to see anything you are off the trail.

I have them on my Viper S, marginal viewing, better for night when all you need to pick up is a headlight behind you. Wind protection is a plus for sure. I also have Powermadd handguards with mirrors, much better view and adjustable.
