SRX700 warning light help

does anyone know what the problem is when the light just flashes 2 times after start up,i know its supposed to flash 3 times to show all is working ok but this one flashes twice and no more

First wecome to the site . First option is to to check the teck section from the home pg under misc (last option). They have the codes listed their depending on what yr your srx is. Put it in your profile so people know if you forget to put it in your post. Second option is to do a search, i guarantee you will find it their. If yours is an 2000 it says its a hand grip problem. The problem depends on if its a quick 2 flashes or a flash few sec flash. The guys here with srx's will know when you give them a little more info. You will find all you need here to get it fixed. thanks super1c,yea i checked yhe tech section and the codes but it dont look like any of those,they are all continous and my one just flashes twice (quite quickly)once its fired up then no more,but will check the handwarmers tmr

If it's of any value... I have a 2000 SRX which does the exact same thing, 2 flashes (not 3) and I have never had any issues/faults in 7000 KM's. My 2002 SRX (with DCS) flashes 3 times, again, never any issues/faults in 10000 KM's. CHEERS.

there's a faint one off the start then 2 bright ones on start up for me

Should flash three times on start up.... I believe that is for all SRX's,,,98-02......
