what do you guys think of this sled with the upgrades- I have never heard of the rear suspension. Also unsure of the handlebar risers. Why would someone use Viper trailing arms? I am alos skeptical about an eng that has already been rebuilt- I would be riding mostly on Maine hardpacked trails and the lake- so I want speed

2000 SRX 700 with lots up updates. Motor was rebuilt less than 600 miles ago using all oem yamaha parts. Sled has a SCIII rear suspension, C&A skis, braided brake line, 5" handle bar risers, 1 1/8" fat bars, studded track, clutch kit, bender cold air intake, Rox sled treads, newer hood graphics, viper trailing arms and spindles, Ohlins front shocks, mid height cobra windshield, factory Yamaha Racing Cover, carbs just cleaned. Sled is ready to ride.

Rear suspension is a ski doo model, why are you unsure of the bar riser?? Depending on the bars they used it might not be much higher than stock. The stock bars have 4 or 5 inches built into them. A straight mx type bar would need the same to get to stock height. The viper arms and spindles are an inch or two higher so it would raise the front end up to probably match up with the rear after the skid swap.

The stock skis on SRX's had a high mount position. If you went and put aftermarket skis on it would lower your front end by aprox. 1". Viper Trailing arms had a longer spindal so you would end up with the same ride height when using aftermarket or viper skis.

The way i see sleds if they have wicked handle bar riser that mean they always were jumpin it and just riding hard...
