135 mains

Are the 135 Main jets good enough for 500ft grass drags @ 17 Degrees celcius or 60 degrees faranheit 750ft above sea level

FYI: don,t get yourself caught up in that lean is mean stuff. saw three yammie triples dynoed this summer and they love fuel.

for grass dragging only, if its clutched/geared aggressively,youll need bigger pilot jets(45-47.5), raised needles (#4)then use the smaller mains(135-140). You need fuel to accelarate a engine in a drag race, you can actually be a little over rich down low and taper it off as the amount of time youll be on the main(60-75ft at the end) it wont matter much in only 500ft.
