Guys,
I am contemplating putting another track on my 89 exciter. It came with my machine. The # on it is Yamaha 84M-47110-00. I looked in the parts lookup and it had 82M instead. Will this work on my machine?
One other question-can I take the studs out without any issues?
I figured you guys would know.
Thanks

should interchange. to make sure, count either the windows or the lugs, multiply by 2.52. you should count 48. pt # difference should relate to the lug pattern. only problem with removing studs and running the track is removing the studs. removal can be a major pain.

Hey snowdad. Even when I try not to bug you, I end up bugging you. Yeah I am finding out what a pain they are to remove! I have been loosening them and once I get a few threads exposed, I zip them off with a dremel cut off wheel. Still slow but I am doing it for safety reasons. The kids like me to pull them around on a toboggan from time to time. I know a little unsafe even without studs but I go slow.
Thanks for the tip on the track. Think I am gonna give it a go. I am missing a few track clips. Are they impossible without the tool?

OK I am a dumb a@#. It is a 82M. A light always helps! It is the right track. Still wondering about the clips. I have read people doing with huge channel locks. Does anyone rent the tool?
