Last time i recliped a track i felt like i just got done with a protate exam and didnt get the reach around or even an offer for ice cream after. I got them from a local parts store and bought an paid for them when i didnt know any better. I could have put a new track on for cheaper and a lot less work. Just some food for thought. Might want to do a little research on new track vs clips for the old one. CCC

That is the Exact reason I started this thread!!! Its sled prep time and we all need to find the least painful way to do it!!!
I got a really nice track from a friend for $40 its just missing 100+ clips..... even buying new clips it will be a good buy but I heard mentioned a few times there is a place to buy Clips for 50 cents each...... im hoping to smoke out the secret spot!!!!

I have not seen them any cheaper then $1 a piece. What kind of track are you putting them on? Dennis kirk maybe? But i think still a buck a piece for most. Most dealers will rent you the tool for free or a small fee. I just had to leave a deposit that was returned when i brought the tool back in working order. CCC

Sounds good, it must be a 2.52 pitch track i think (spacing between lugs/windows). I'll keep my eye out while surfing around for cheap clips for ya. If the track is in nice shape recliping will be worth it. CCC
