99 srx with dual headlight and hood

Hey guys,

Whats the oem headlight watts on a 2000-2002 srx...


I remember reading people using the dual headlight on their 98-99 srx's but changing the bulbs to lower watts and still being brighter then the stock single beam one...

what watt bulbs could you run in the dual headlight on a 99 srx?

I remeber talking in a thread to some 1 about this last season but cant find it

You may be able to use the dual beam headlight pod on a 98/99 SRX but most likely will only be able to use one light unless I'm mistaken.Even with lower wattage bulbs the mag itself doesn't have to output to power 2.There was a swap made by a member years ago if I remember right doing this very same thing but it is really involved and not for the faint of heart.There was a lot of electrical things that had to be changed or modified so it would he =lp if your an electrical engineer or know one.
 
all i did was splice another light bulb in to my single one and run two 35 watt blubs from a scooter and it is better than stock and still lesser draw on the system you can also run a led taillight bulb.
