what is a hauck light blue spring?

not sure, but i run a hauck red in my asphalt 835. it takes 2 men and a boy to open the sec. its a heavy one for sure. silvers got nothin on that red.

If the hauck light blue spring is a primary spring, then its the same as a yamaha w/w/w spring, which is a 45/120kg, w/a 2.25kg rate. The hauck red second springs are stiff and much taller than yamaha second springs, which gives them much more pre-load and side pressure on the sheaves. They also get wound different. I don't remember specs on that guy.

JOSH IS RIGHT ON HERE. THAT HAUCK BLUE SPRING WORKS GREAT AND SPEC,S VERY CLOSE TO THE YAMAHA W-W-W. I HAVE USED THAT SPRING IN MANY VMAX 4 CLUTCH KITS I HAVE RECOMENED FOR PEOPLE. THAT RED SECONDARY SPRING SETS DEFFERENT ALSO LIKE JOSH POSTED. THEY ARE CALLED SNO X SPRINGS. GIVE YA A EXAMPLE, POPULAR 80 DEGREE WITH THIS SPRING WOULD BE 2-0 INSTEAD OF 6-2 WITH LETS SAY A YAMAHA GREEN. 3:16 (yammie tony)
