can I use engine foam cleaner on the outside of the case's and then scrub with stiff toothbrushes and rinse with varsol or gas??Also can I then place the cases in the Dishwasher and have them cleaned once more that way.Or should I put in a tub of hot water and scrub them down and rinse off.Does it really matter if the inside of the cases get wet with soapy water as long it is rinsed off after.

i clean mine by scrubbing with simple green and then toss them in a large 250 gallon parts washer which is heated to 200 degrees , cases comeout lookin squekie clean. basically my parts washer is nothing more than a giant dish washer.

varsol sounds like what a lot of guys use.

yea it is... and if you want to use the dishwasher with soap and stuff... you can... I would just soak the cases quickly in varsol again after to get the soap off...
