I have a 1995 Pazer ST. I want to check the oil pump cable for free play but the shroud below the handle bars is in the way to get a caliper in there. The page I ahve out of a service manual says to remove the shroud. Makes sense to me . Anybody have a diagram or have any tips on removing the shroud? I ahte learning the hard way. Thanks

It is a big job to remove that piece. I don't think the manual is wanting you to do that. Use a short ruler or cut yourself a gauge of the proper size out of flat cardboard.

I think the oil cable adjustment was just above the carberators. Follow the cable down to where it attaches at the carberator, just above that point is an adjuster under a rubber shieth move the rubber back and pull on both ends, there will be a gap and that is adjusted for more or less oil. There was a MM measurement for the gap, I don't remember it though.
