...and can anyone explain what exactly I need to do? I got t-bone by a friend last winter and I have a hole in my exhaust side belly pan.

I could patch it, but I would rather have a new one. As long as I don't have to pull my motr etc.

Thanks!

:dunno:

It is a straight forward project to change the exhaust side belly pan. I have changed the belly pans on several SRXs. You do not have to remove the engine. You will have to remove the exhaust and the trailing arm. You will need to gett access to all the rivets. You will have to drill out the rivets. I use a dremel tool with a round grinding stone to remove the head of the rivets since drilling them causes the rivets to spin. Just take yor time, it is an easy job, just takes a good amount of time.

It really is not a bad job, gives you the opportunity to do some good cleaning and inspection of teh right side of the sled. While you have full access to it, you might want to open up the chaincase and give it a good cleaning and inspection.

hey guys, what odes a side panel cost? And where did you get it? Im in canada, curious if it is cheaper in the USA.
