Hey guys,

just looking for some feedback on aftermarket skis for my '99 SRX700. What have you got? How do you like them? Looking specifically for a better deep snow ski (wider) that doesn't dart as much as my factory skis when on the trails.

Thanks so much!

SLP --SLT's are a great trail ski,,,,,with their keel blade and 5" carbide runner,,,,,(eliminates darting),,,(easy too turn) running these on four different sleds (three different manufactured brand sleds),,, for deep powder,, cant beat their powder pros........

Thanks Whammy... how wide are your SLT's? I dont really need a dedicated powder ski, just a nice compromise between a trail and back woods ski. I believe my stock SRX skis are only 5" wide.

Thought I'd join this thread instead of starting a new one -

I too am looking for an off-trail ski that works on-trail as well, am considering:

Slydog Powderhounds 7" - any opinions re: the new 8" model and also which bar to go with ? I've read that the Sly bar suck and better off with Woody's?

C & A's XTX ??

oh ya going on mostly stock (cept for can/and some clutch work) 04 mtn viper

thanks,
Rob

I have generation 1 simmons skis on my sled and like them alot for trail and off trail riding.I have always wanted to try some c&a skis either razors or the original style.

i used pilots, the ones with one runner in the center and one on outside edge, they were awsome on trail, didnt carve as well as others in the powder though.
