so i need some help on removing the stock drivers off of the drive shaft so i can replace them with 8 tooth anti rachets. does anyone have any advice that will make it easier..and also what about when putting them back on the shaft in the right position..ARE THere measurements that need to be set? thanks, i appreciate the help.

Yes you need a press to remove the old drivers and it is very important that you put them in the right location.

Mark the shaft as to where they came from!! and what Bluewho said...
as mentioned, the ONLY way to remove and install drivers is with a press. make sure to pay attention to the timing marks on the extros, and yes, there are specific measures that need to be met. simple mathematical deductions prior to removing stockers and marking will simplify the deal.

what kind of press.like an arbor press? do you know any measurements? thanks, dave

No need to measure anything with the olds one on the axle. When your ready i have a diagram of the placement of the extros on the axle. Careful no to booger up the axle either.

The extrovert drivers will not be in the same place as the stock ones. Stock ones line up inside the track windows but extro's need to be on the track windows.

I used a drill press as an arbor press. I worked fine
