Guys I have a line on a real low mileage viper mean real low like 800'miles on an 03. The guy wants 2900 for it.
Anything to worry about on a sled that has been ridden that little. I mean it's been sitting alot. Plus I can't see them fogging the motor every so often. I mean low miles are great but I think I would be more comfortable with a sled that had 2000 miles on it. At least you know it was ridden.
Any thoughts

go look at it ride it...... dont get excited until you see there isn't a spec of dirt or grime under the hood!!!! that sled should look emaculate, like it just rolled off the showroom unless something is very wrong!!!!

check to make sure the gauge cluster doesn't look way newer than the rest of the sled!!!!

sounds like a great deal......BUT.......

TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.... ALWAYS!! ALWAYS!!! ALWAYS!!!!!! MEANS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!!!!

Buy with your head not your desire!!!!!

thats my $.02

We bought a 2002 Viper last year at the auction for under $1,700. plus it had under 500 miles on it. Just got lucky I guess. Nobody was bidding so I bought it. I really didn't need it but I am glad we bought it. No issues at all with the sled, all stock, Al

bought my 03 viper last year had 800 miles paid 2900.00 great sled!!

check it out, nothing to loose. look for things like wear where people rest their feet, stitching pulling apart in the sear, worn handlebar grips, little things like that. sometimes with that low of miles may be someone who has put a spedo in it at one time to get rid of some miles. if it really is low and has been sitting i wouldnt be afraid of it, it shouldnt need much more than cleaning, maybe goin through carbs and some other minor things. good luck
