2000 SXR 700 hand warmer and light?

When I first got my SXR 700 the low beam light wasn't working, so I bought a new bulb and installed it and now it's all good. It seems as the though the other bulb overheated, is there any main cause for this? also i'm getting no heat to the sled's hand grips despite turning the hand warmers on. Anyone know where to start with for troubleshooting and is there a possible linkage between the problem with the light and the hand warmers? Thanks in advance..

Not sure about the SRX but i know with my vipers the grips dont really heat up till i get the sled running for a bit. Just my experience. Hard to judge just by running it for a few in the garage. CCC

hmm alright thanks for the reply I guess I will just wait for the snow to come, any correlation between the light blowing and the potential hand warmer problem? Thanks
