This might be a stupid question but here it goes

everyone knows that the SRX make it's best power from 8350-8500 with the right clutching and setup but after you change out the stock can for a the "noise maker" can you change around your clutching to get back the loss of power say if the SRX is at 8500 WOT then the "noise maker" can makes it go down too 8200 WOT can you take some weight off the the ramps to get back those RPMS?

please take it easy on me for a stupid question this early in the morning I'm just missing the snow already.......DAM IT SNOW ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......... LOL ;)! :letitsnow :letitsnow

You need to run the same sled/same day/same dyno/same operater to get a true baseline for peak torque/hp rpm,s. If you can change clutching to gain hp from a loss you are truly a clutching god/guru!!!

I THINK THATS A GOOD QUESTION. HERE IS MY ANSWER. WHY GO SLOWER. ANOTHER WORDS SWEET RPM IS 8300-8500. THATS PEAK HP AND TORQUE. SO TO RUN THESE STUPID CANS , YOU WANT TO CLUTCH FOR LESS POWER BECAUSE YA KNOW THEY ROB HP ? SHURE GO AHEAD, I LOVE RACING AGAINST SLEDS LIKE THIS. 3:16 (yammie tony)

must be early in the morning not enough coffee LOL

But doesn't matter how much HP you have, there was a write up on hardcore sledder about the 800 R Rush that cleaned up the 800 stock class in Epping NH and it was against the 800R etec, 800 cfr HO acrtic cat and there supposed to have 160+ HP when the 800r Rush has 143 HP it all how you get the power too the track ;)!

I THINK IN THE CASE ABOVE YA NEED TO LOOK AT THE R/T. E.T. AND WEIGHTS OF THE DRIVERS. PERFECT TIMED HOLESHOTS IN 500 F.T. ON GRASS CAN WHEN YA LOTS OF RACES. YOUR USEING A TOTALLY DEFFERENT EXAMPLE HERE. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Hp means zip if your not set up for that day & those conditions. a 10 degree difference in secondary settings can add/subtract 1-2 sled lengths as conditions change.
