Good times last year...
Water had pooled in places on our lake... some areas were a foot deep!
On another lake during a trip.
Double skip.

Nice shots! Where were you riding in those pics? Also, what sort of speeds were you going across the water?
I remembered now what happend last time Akrievins did that.....
Nice pics.....

Nice pics.....
I am not sure I would dare to do something like that and risk losing the sled
Do vipers run water any better than an srx? I'm not talking about going out and finding water to run here but rather when you come to a spot on the trail where it becomes necessary to cross some water
SRX's run just fine on water if you seal the correct places. Look at my avatar.

These were all taken in the Parry Sound area.
The water was 1 foot at the deepest and was actually the safest type of water running you can do. You can't actually loose your sled. I did sink it in a foot of water though when the belt got wet. Worst feeling ever!
It seemed to run the water best at high speed. We'd hit the water doing 80 kms and then just pin it... Very smooth across the water! My first pic. is a WOT shot, the others were slower skips.
This is what happens when the belt gets wet... I have to mention that I didn't realize this was so deep, and I let up off the throttle and water started splashing and that was it.. water on the belt and clutch and I wasn't going anywhere.
