who has ported their viper motor to run with the stock single pipe and what do you feel are the gains/benefits vs. dislikes/negatives. what did you actually do as far as porting and would you do it again.
this is not a race machine and must stay reliable with excellent driveability, just looking for a bit more power.

Get with Mr. Viper on here, he can hook you up and give you some detailed answers to your questions.
I ran my Viper with trail ported heads and stock pipe for one season. The throttle response and midrange power where very impressive. I now have a Bender 4x4 single pipe. Noticed a jump in rpm with that as well. And yes I would do it again. The only negative about porting is that you lose a wee bit of fuel economy because you tend to be on the throttle a bit harder enjoying the new found life in the engine.

Mr. Viper Do You Have Any Suggestions As Far As Porting Techniques? I Have Heard That Around 200 Degrees Of Rotation On The Exhaust Port Should Be Safe Anything More Than 200 You Need Higher Compression And Pipes Is There Any Truth To That?
