I know that the Viper is famous for having a chaffed wire somewhere . My Viper has a new stator but sometimes the lights flick on and off an bumpy trails and the guages also go off and on which to me would indicate a chaffed wire.
QUESTIONS:
where is the typical place to look?
does the engine need to be removed?
does anyone have a good harness to sell me? 2003 Viper

Joe,
No need to pull the engine. Remove airbox. Tie a string to the harness connector up near the hood. Then pull the harness under the motor up and out from behind the motor up past the carbs. You will find the rubbed wire. Joe your a mechanic and will know what to do next. ---Mac---
