Hi Guys,
Any recommendations for the shim plates when installing an Sc10-3 into
a 98 Srx 700? We re moving the front mounts so I assume we'll need them
for the back only? Does 5" x 3" aluminum work, say 3/18th's thickness?
Never did this before so looking for tried and true tech. (The DOO guys
take me into bumps after they get waxed on the lakes)
So I need a wee bit O help on the lower back.
Thanks guys.

Just use the old rear plates and drill them out for the 1/2 in bolt.

No not needed the new hole will catch part of the inner bracket so you will end up with the same as you had before!Did you read the install of a sc2 in the general forum? That should explain it all.

Sorry BLUE,
I dont know who's measurements to go by. Is it 25.75 or 24.75 or 23.75"?
I sent you a reply PM for a starting point. If shims arent needed, I'll start it at
noon today.
