on my o2 viper the warning light flashes along with the fuel bars. It flashes eight times, pauses then repeats. Anyone else ever have this problem, or have any ideas on a fix. Any help would be apreciated, I am trying to sell this sled.

a little upset stomach but no gas... Of course i made sure it has a full tank

If I remember right, 8 flashes is temp sensor disconected or shorted. But I'm not sure about the flashing fuel bars. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
That trouble code indicates a problem with the fuel sender, or fuel sender circuit. It is not a serious problem, but you will have to check the fuel level by looking in the tank until it is remedied. Check the electical connections going to the fuel sender. Also check the electrical plug going into the speedo unit.
One thing to note is that whichever indicator flashes along with the warning light provides an early (until you can get to the book) indicator of where the problem lies.
