My dad is helping a friend with a xlt that scored one cylinder pretty bad by boring it out .020 at work.Is it possible to just do one cylinder or will this throw the balance off of the motor and bad things happen? Its just a sled for his son and doesnt want to spend a ton. Any help would be appreciated!

it will run that way, but isn't recommended. tell your uncle to not be so cheap and bore the other cylinders and just get cheap spi pistons for it, or even the "parts unlimited" branded pistons.

Thanks for the help! I know, there is no way I would try that in my sled, but he is a polaris owner so the cheaper the better.
