just noticed the mice have gotten to my handle bar padding and cover..... thankfully nothing else! Anybody use anything other than the stock one? I would ride without it, but there seems to be a lot of wiring that was concealed by that pad and cover.

you should pull your air box apart. Ive seen them get in there on my dads sled before and build nests.

oh yeah,better check you wire good because they did chew thru some of the covering on some wires on mine..

Guys, over the summer put a few dryer fabric softener sheets on your bar pad, under the hood on the airbox, and one on the exhaust exit. Keeps the mice away, and your sled smells good!

that didn't work for me.They ate parts of the frabric softener also.They were hungry critters.I now bought an electronic device that sends a signal at a certain frequency that mice and rats don't like.I use it in the house and seems to work.
