need help with proper secondary spring install
2000 srx. stock red secondary spring (replacing old one with new one, same spring).
chart on the board says 80 deg preload. also local shop said numbers 3,6 and 90deg.
i marked the secondary ( one flange) before taking apart. when installing the new spring with 3 on inboard, and 6 on helix. it seemed to be about 80-90 windup, but the three flanges were not in original.
1) is it critical for balance to install the helix indexed as original
2) is 3, and 6 the right install preload for 2000 srx
3) i have stepped the gear down from 23T to 22T and machined the helix flange to get more shiftout. is the stock install the right setup or should i wind up differently ( more or less).

thanks, guess i'm pulling it off again and setting for 80deg.
what will the characteristic differences be between 80 and 90 windup. this clutch tinkering is new to me. all previous sleds have been left 100% stock and not touched........

it will have more back shift with more twist and slower upshift.
